FAQ
F.A.Q.
Q: Can I visit your shop?
A: The workshop is no place for visitors - too much chaos and too many sharp tools. It's where ideas take shape in the haze of late nights and half-finished thoughts. Finished pieces don't linger there long anyway; they're spirited offsite for safekeeping, away from the madness. Only the works in progress stay behind, catching sparks and dust until it's ready to face the world.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Please refer to our Shipping & Returns pages for this policy.
Q: How long will it take for my order to ship?
A: Please refer to our Shipping & Returns pages for this policy.
Q: How is my order packaged?
A: Each item is individually boxed, then nestled into a larger, plain package - no logos, no shouting, just a quiet return address from "Volga EM". Before it ships, we photograph your order and seal it with tamper-evident tape, like a gentleman's pact. You'll know exactly what left our hands.. and if someone tampers with it in transit, then we'll all know who to chase.
Q: Is my order insured?
A: Absolutely. Every package is insured - because the world is chaos, and we've seen what happens when a rogue delivery truck meets a South Carolina pothole. If the item goes missing, gets mangled, or vanishes into the postal abyss, you're covered. Sanity may be fragile, but your order isn't.
Q: Why don't you ship via UPS?
A: UPS has restrictions on shipping precious metals, gemstones and numismatic items that prevent us from adequately insuring packages. UPS Restricted Items
Q: Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
A: Only if the processing beast hasn't swallowed it whole. Once it's caught, you're riding the chaos all the way!
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Please refer to our Shipping & Returns pages for this policy.
Q: Who designs/makes your craftsman jewelry?
A: Every piece carries the mark of it's creator - if the madman decides to reveal themselves. But some artists vanish into the shadows, choosing silence over fame, leaving only their wild anonymous ghost behind.
Q: What materials do you use in your jewelry?
A: We work in the old metals - gold, silver, copper and bronze - the kind of materials that have been dragged from the earth and turned into beauty for thousands of years. Gold, though, has gotten expensive. So we don't keep it lying around, tempting fate or thieves. If you see a piece on the site and want it in gold, reach out. We'll make it for you. Just send word to our email at: kontakt@volgaedelmetalle.com.
Q: Are your gemstones natural?
A: Some are born in the earth, under pressure and time - others are cooked up in labs by white-coated alchemists chasing perfection with science and madness. We use both. No secrets, no tricks - the stone's origin is spelled out in the product details like a confession. Before anything gets set, each gem goes through a brutal interrogation with the cold, unblinking eye of gemological science.
Q: Why would I want a lab created gemstone?
A: Lab-created gemstones share the same chemical and physical properties as their natural counterparts. However, they typically have fewer inclusion, are more affordably priced and are often produced in a more environmentally responsible way.
Q: Do you accept custom design requests?
A: Afraid not. We don't do custom work - the designer is barely manageable as it is. Trust us, it's better this way.
Q: Can you resize or repair a piece I purchased?
A: We offer repairs and adjustments on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at: kontakt@volgaedelmetalle.com with the details and we will do our best to help.
